Kahikatea's Silly Olympics
As a rev up to our inquiry unit this term the Kahikatea team decided to have a silly Olympics to coincide with the London Olympics. This is what we did. First, we split into 8 countries.
Then we made chants...
Then we had our Olympics. Some of the events were the tarp pull, the bucket run, the caterpillar crawl, dress up sprints and the Weet-Bix eating competition.

Kahikatea sure looked like they were having fun! My class were a bit concerned that the teachers missed out. I assured them that we had plenty of fun... laughing at all the stuff you all got up to!!
